01 / MEET

First, we’ll talk about what sort of headshots you are looking for and how they’ll be used. You will learn what to expect during our session, and I will learn how to best serve you.

02 / PLAN

I will send you the “Getting Ready” guide that will answer all of your questions and help prepare you for your shoot. Tips on clothes, makeup, accessories, even sleep and diet prior to your session!

03 / SHOOT

It’s time for your shoot! Your office, on-location, or in a studio, the choice is yours. You will have a great experience. No stress, no anxiety. I’ll coach you through the entire process, helping you to relax and letting your personality shine.

Yes, you read that correctly.

If, within 24 hours of receiving your photos you decide you aren’t happy with your photos, just let me know and we’ll schedule a reshoot. Happiness can be a pretty ephemeral thing however, so there are a few limitations:

  • I cannot offer retakes if you decide you don’t like your hair, wardrobe, etc.

  • Cannot be redeemed once an image has been downloaded.

  • No refunds will be given; this guarantee will be honored with a reshoot only.

  • Reshoots will be scheduled on a mutually agreeable date as close to the original shoot date as possible.

FAQ

  • Your rate will depend on the scope of services you require. My clients generally prefer and benefit most from a per-project fee, so all shoots are quoted up-front based on your exact scope of services, deliverables, etc. Please schedule a free discovery call so we can discuss your project and I can provide you with a quote.

  • Time is important. Headshots with just one outfit and a couple poses could be over in a few minutes, while other sessions could require a couple hours if you want multiple looks, hair and makeup services, and more than one “set up.” We’ll define your goals during our initial consultation and from there I will be able to give you an accurate estimate on time.

  • Absolutely! A professional hair and makeup artist (HMUA) is a terrific choice to help ensure you look your best. I have several carefully vetted HMUAs that understand how to apply natural makeup and how to apply their craft in the context of a studio-lit headshot.

  • We can view proofs of your photos “live” during your shoot. Standard turnaround of your edited images is within 48 hours. If you need your photos faster, let me know during our discovery call and in most situations I can make accommodations.

    For larger groups or situations where each participant is to receive their photos directly, unedited photos can be delivered instantly. This is a great option for conferences!

  • The standard delivery method is via a secure, online gallery. Once your final images are uploaded, you will receive a link and password to your gallery, where you can download individual photos or the entire collection as a zip file. For larger teams or events, participants can be sent invitations to their individual galleries. Please be sure to discuss any specific needs you may have during our discovery call.

  • I’m here to answer them! Please reach contact me or schedule a discovery call and I will make sure your questions are answered.

  • While most of my schedule is filled with organizational clients, I do reserve a limited number of openings to work with families, individuals, students, etc. If you are interested, please join my wait list!
